Michael Jackson's dood maakt op mij een diepe indruk gezien ik hem als persoon en zijn muziek al volg zolang ik me herrineren kan.Veel te vroeg wreed weggerukt uit een leven dat hen nog zoveel te bieden leek te hebben. Mijn herinnering aan Michael is met name het feit dat hij er als eerste zwarte popmuzikant volledig in slaagde om "zwart" en "wit" aan zich te binden, wellicht vandaar ook zijn prachtige "Black and White" . Die 2-ledige binding was soulzangers en R&B muzikanten daarvoor slechts ten dele gelukt. Zijn aangeboren charisma droeg duidelijk bij aan zijn succes en het is dan ook vreselijk jammer dat Michael de afgelopen 15 jaar voornamelijk het nieuws haalde met controversiele zaken als zijn vermeende pedofilie, zijn misvormde uiterlijk en zijn huidziekte. Eindelijk zou de muziek weer aan de orde komen in Londen, maar helaas mocht het zover niet komen. "Only the Good Die Young" stond er destijds bij Bruce Lee's overlijdensbericht. Dit gezegde is zeker ook op Michael Jackson van toepassing. R.I.P. Michael !

I'm here everyday, listening to your music...pouring out my heart. Life was not truly the same when you left. I keep on thingking daily why this is so for me to have been totally affected by your deprture. I love to look at your pictures--the only thing left for us to remember you here on earth. I truly feel alone, esp. when my kids are in school. I often think I'm missing my days...messing my life, but I have to accept that you are there already. I have to move on, grow more... to function for my family--5 kids and a good husband who never shows anger each time i talk about you. He seems to understand my being now.more »
However, even everybody understands me, I can't and will not be able and don't have the right to tell them what i really feel--my breaking heart. It's just only now, when you left , when I felt this huge emptiness. But I am matured enough and Godly enough to everyday turn my miseries to blessings.All along, I know nobody can help me out from this misery. Because everytime I hear you and see you, my heart would melt for love in you. Esp when I see your children..the pitiful kids that you left behind. How sad they were! I can't contain y sadness each time I see them esp. Blanket staring at your image i his hands.
Now I am not afraid to die. If you left, why can't I You made me accept leaving. We travel shortly here and finally, we will all come to rest. I have to think of these if not I won't be able to cope with the situation of your leaving. I have to be positive or else my depression will kill me,too.

As the world celebrated MICHAEL JACKSON'S 51st birthday on August 29, 2009 by making tributes to the King of Pop playing his songs and dancing in the streets, malls, etc., me & my family went to the city to eat and had fun. The kids were eating their ice cream after some spaghetti and pizza wearing thier MJ t-shirts. I had it made for them. And they're not just wearing the shirts for the sake of it but they know MJ's music (they love & jump to their feet & starts dancing everytime they hear his song!) and recognized him in magazines and tv. Truly the King of Pop doesn't just cater to one but of all ages and races. His Music Will Live Forever. HAPPY 51st BIRTHDAY MICHAEL JACKSON! :-)

Michael Jackson's one and only autobiography, Moonwalk, will be made available to the public again starting October 13, 2009. The book was first published in 1988. The 2009 reissue will include the original Foreword by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, a new Introduction by Motown founder Berry Gordy, and an Afterword by

Michael Jackson's editor and publisher, Shaye Areheart. This is the only book about his life that Michael Jackson ever wrote. He chronicles his humble beginnings in the Midwest, his early days with the Jackson 5, and his unprecedented solo success. Moonwalk details his songwriting process for hits like "Human Nature," "Beat It," "Rock With You," "Billie Jean," and "We Are the World"; describes how he developed his signature dance style, including the Moonwalk; and opens the door to his very private personal relationships with his family, including sister Janet, and stars like Diana Ross, Berry Gordy, Quincy Jones, Paul McCartney, and Brooke Shields.
