Darren Julien, president and CEO of Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills, says the jacket was purchased Sunday by Milton Verret, a commodities trader from Austin, Texas.
The jacket is one of two Jackson wore during the filming of the 1983 "Thriller" video. Jackson wears the jacket in a scene with a troupe of zombies who rise from their graves and break into a dance routine.

Verret says the jacket will be sent on tour and used as a fundraising tool for children's charities.
A portion of the sale price will go to the Shambala Preserve, a big cat sanctuary caring for two tigers Jackson one owned.

وفور الاعلان عن اسم الفيلم غضب جمهور نادي الزمالك حيث اعتقد البعض أن الفيلم يدور حول المباراة الشهيرة بين الأهلي والزمالك، والتي فاز فيها الأهلي 6-1 أحرز فيها لاعب الأهلي خالد بيبو 4 أهداف بمفرده، بعد أن راوغ مدافع نادي الزمالك أكثر من مرة في هذه المباراة، ما جعل المعلق مدحت شلبي يردد جملته الشهيرة "بيبو وبشير" طوال المباراة.

ولكن منة نفت علاقة الفيلم بلاعبي كرة القدم، مؤكدة أن الفيلم ليس له أي علاقة بهذه المباراة ولكن تجسد في الفيلم شخصية "بيبو"، بينما يجسد آسر ياسين الذي يشاركها في الفيلم شخصية "بشير".

قال محمد الفايد رئيس نادي فولهام الانجليزي ان على مشجعي النادي ان "يذهبوا للجحيم" اذا لم يعجبهم وضع تمثال مايكل جاكسون في النادي.

ويتوقع ان يثير قرار الفايد وضع التمثال في نادي فولهام بكرافن كوتاج انقساما في الراي.



وكان المغني الامريكي الراحل صديقا للفايد، لكن كل علاقته بالنادي ان حضر مباراة له ضد ويغان عام 1999 كضيف رئيس النادي.



لكن الفايد قال: "سيصطف الناس طوابير ليأتوا الى هنا من كل انحاء بريطانيا ويشاهدوه، وهو امر يجب ان افخر انا والاخرون به".



وقال كيتي سيمونز، الذي كان يلعب للفريق في المباراة التي شاهدها جاكسون والان هو مدرب اشبال الفريق تحت 18: "كانت اوقاتا عظيمة. الامر الاهم ان الرئيس يشعر بشغف حيال الامر وانه قرر وضع التمثال وهذا من حقه".

Michael Jackson's doctor to be tried for manslaughter

A judge has ordered the personal doctor of Michael Jackson to stand trial for involuntary manslaughter.

Judge Pastor made the order against the cardiologist on the sixth day of the hearing. He also granted a request by the California Medical Board to suspend the licence of Dr Murray to practise in the state.



Dr Murray faces up to four years in prison if convicted at trial.



'Becoming addicted'



Earlier, Detective Orlando Martinez, who interviewed Dr Murray two days after Mr Jackson's death in June 2009, gave evidence to the court.



Mr Martinez told the hearing Dr Murray said that Jackson told him on the day he died he would have to cancel his comeback concerts in London unless he had a dose of the anaesthetic, propofol.

During closing arguments at the hearing, Dr Murray's lawyer, Joseph Low, said the case should be dismissed because prosecutors had not adequately proved how Dr Murray caused Jackson's death. He also said Jackson's health may have been a contributing cause
